You wouldn't believe the trouble this crappy light bulb is causing. I spent two hours trying to verify connectivity from harness connector to fixture, fixture to bulb holder, bulb holder to light bulb. I cannot for the life of me figure out why this thing is not working.

What I get is 'brake light' intensity whenever the lights are on.

I seriously could not believe my eyes sometimes. The multimeter must be haunted or something.

My son (19 yr old) was amazed as well. It was if the car/harness/fixture/holder/bulb all had minds of their own.

Tomorrow I shall give it another go.

Brining this thread back up because it's EXACTLY the same issue I'm having. What I love about this forum is so far, EVERY problem I've had with this D1 so has someone else and it's been addressed here.

I think the should be a sticky (if there isn't one already I missed) about changing out all the bulbs you can with LEDs so as not to melt things! LOL

I ordered LEDs to fix this issue off amazon following WaltNYC's post above.
