I reccomend to EVERYONE out there. remove your radiator next time your doing a coolant change and clean inbetween the two. It appears the bugs like to go around the first one and sit in the space between the two. I must have found 25 million dragonflys in between.

I was amazed when I replaced my electric fans in front of the a/c condensor how many leaves and junk were stuck up in there.

This is exactly why I try and remember to tell people to wash the radiator with a hose at least once a year, even just running the hose down there will wash most leaves, pine needles, pollen, bugs etc out.

But I always used a hose to wash it actually pressure washed it and the whole time thought it was clean. The gunk is in-between the two

It does make you wonder if there shouldnt be an opening at the bottom as a "clean out"

I spent close to a hour with compressed air and a hose getting mine cleaned out last year. Incredible how much crap gets in there. I am going to check mine out again just to be sure it is still clean. been about a year.
