Default Removing a Stuck Camshaft Sensor Bolt

Hi everyone, first post so I thought this would be appropriate. I have a 97 D1 XD and the camshaft sensor bolt looks like it was installed with an impact. The bolt head was slightly rounded and the sensor base was cracked. I was able to finish rounding off the bolt with the 8mm wrench and I can't seem to get vise grips in there good enough to get a solid bite.
What are your suggestions?

Steve

Ok, late on the update but here we are. Ended up removing the radiator and two pulleys and that gave me a direct line to the bolt. The bolt was not as rounded as I believed but was damaged due to the angle that i was accessing it from. Anyways, regular socket worked just fine. Thanks for the ideas.
