Here if your car is unsafe you will get pulled over and get a "fix it" ticket. You have 10 days to fix it or you will be fined.
If the car is just plain old dangerous it will be impounded unless you have it towed to a shop.
There is a lot of crap on the road but the roads are more dangerous with the huge potholes than they are with junk cars.
Lol very true, we've got potholes the size of beachballs all over the place. I even had one eat one of the tires on the Disco. I pity the person who drives a compact car on the surface streets around DC.

www. SOR.com It's a Land Cruiser specialty site. Originally bought them for my FJ40, but found they worked in the Rover. I had a membership at the time, so I paid the $16.14 price. I'm sure super bright LED's would have something similar, just not sure the bulb size off the top of my head.

We've got nothing around here. No emissions, no safety, and the cops hardly enforce the things that are technically illegal unless it's really obvious. If they're going to institute a program I wish it'd be an auto maintenance awareness program or free auto checkup with advice that's actually helpful.

we've got ***** chasing, donut eating, automatic weapon carrying, steroid taking, maniac cops which is one reason why I like to keep my truck low key.

they have their lights flashing constantly after sunset so you constantly feel like you're gonna get pulled. you never know what they are going to do.

otherwise i like it.
