Replaced front doors, now it won't unlock!
So heres a strange one, can't figure it out for the life of me so I am coming to the almighty forums for help.
Replaced the beat up pair of front doors on my 1995 with a new set. Mounted up perfectly, all the connectors went right on nice, and it all seemed to be great. The door lock goes up and down with the remote, but I can only open the door with the key! The lock/unlock tab thing on the door seems to have no effect on it at all. The door opens from the inside without an issue.
Basically I can only open the doors on either end if I have the key in the lock itself.
Strange thing is that the key will still raise and lower the tab on the top of the door when I turn it, so its still connected somehow.
Is there an easy reason for this that I'm not getting? Or do I need to tear the door apart and have a look inside. To my knowledge the new doors were working fine in the old car. Thanks for any help.
