Default Replacing Clutch Fork

Hi Guys

So ive jumped in the deep end attempting to replace the clutch fork on my 97 300 tdi. For an $80 part close to $1000 in labor didnt really seem worth while (at the time!!) So any how ive removed the prop shafts and gearbox mounts and the engine is now resting on the chassis cross member below it.

Im just a bit lost figuring out which bolts are needed in order to seperate the bell housing from the engine. does the whole transmission need to slide back at all in order to seperate?

Anyone who might have done this who can pass on a bit of help would be a big help!

Cheers

Sam

There are 14 bolts and/or nuts to undo that hold the bell housing to the flywheel housing.
The manual illustrates them.

I strongly suggest making the gearbox support as shown in the manual.
