Default Rock Sliders

After my first time off-roading in a long time, I feel the need for a good set of rock sliders to help protect the rocker panels and lower body on my Disco 1.

I found a set of Rocky Road supersliders that look to be made from a thicker tube and look nice for around $500. Open to opinions on them or other setups that may be cheaper and still do the job. It could be a bit before I have a budget for them but it doesn't hurt to look right??

I haven't found a set cheaper, but there are more expensive options. I'd like to make a set one day, but I haven't had the time.

Those look pretty nice. I'd like to make a set also, just need to buy a welder. One of the many things I want.

I have a set of the Rocky Road Supersliders and am pretty happy with them. In my opinion you absolutely need the tree bar part because it saved me multiple times on just one trip.

I put grip tape on mine and they make an awesome way to step up into my seat.

I wouldn't say that customer service is splendid but I may have just caught the guy on a bad day.

*Word of caution* They are really tough and likely will never bend which is a downfall for me because I took an unexpected hard hit against a tree and bent my rocker pretty good, so consider bracing against frame.

However if I hadn't had them I wouldn't be able to open my passenger door.

In summary you won't be disappointed. I helped install some Rovertymes on my friends disco, they are nice but I like mine more
