It's not almost, it's the exact same color...Tangiers Orange.

Sweeeeet! Did you get it custom painted or did you pay already painted the G4 orange?

Purchased alpine white, but was developing the dreaded alpine window rust and had a few dings in it, so it was due for a respray. Rather then sticking with the Alpine I opted to switch to Tangiers Orange. The worlds only D1 G4 It was a group project between myself and Bomar 76.

Well kudos! That is one pimpin rig. I am jealous. Have you thought about badgeing it and getting a G4 tire cover? Then it would be complete. Unless you have them already, you can't really tell by the pictures.

Its crossed my mind more than once I'm sure eventually it will become all decaled up...

BajaPower did all the removal of accessories, body work, and the masking.
I shot 6 coats of PPG Tangiers Orange on it and later the black out hood.
He did all the reassembly other than reinstalling the windows, I helped with that and it sucked even using the rope trick. The alpine windows are incredibly difficult.

Awesome job guys. I think it looks amazing and the new lights on the roof rack look great too. Amazing rig.
