I know there was a Bill, Bruce, and Dave from Fort Pitt that I met and talked to. I dont remember seeing an XMOD there but there was so mutch going on I was just trying to keep track of my group. I know Bruce was one hell of a good guy that was in my group sat morning, he had a 5 speed D1 with maybe 2" lift? and AT tires but he went every where with that thing.

I think my truck is pretty mutch done for trails this year but its getting a whole new suspension setup once I get a chance to fab up some parts and order some more stuff to complete it.

Nice pics Danny, but I didn't know Steven Spielberg wheeled a blue disco!

yeah, danny, any time you saw just one front wheel moving and not the othe rthat is a result of not having a Front 1/3 locker as opposed to not having the Center 1/3 diff lock engaged. CDL locks forward to rear, lockers lock left and right. Brian has lockers in both axels and a cdl, so theoretically, he could be on one wheel and still have total power to the ground. I;m actually pretty sure i saw it last weekend.
What a blast. Danny I'm thinking of getting up with the FPLG guys the next time i'm out your way. If i drive my truck out there @ 8MPG you better make an appearance. I wanna see you push it to the limit (walk along the razors edge). in the mean time, i've got beefed up trailing arms, new OME shocks, spring spacers, maybe a bumper, maybe some armor to go in. We'll see

In the pics I posted above, the group pic has John by his Freelander that led us up the entire climb. I was impressed by how he got the Freelander thru some of the obstacles. He works for the Power Company and gets to fly in their tree-cutting helocopter that trims the trees away from the powerlines, so he gets a birds eye view of the entire terrain before a trip.
We drove up a combination of State Game Land Roads and the Power Line Right of Way from highway 710 to the summit just past Ligioner.

Dave is second standing on the capstan on the front of his Disco II that he had at that time. He buys and sells LR's and Jags and has the Royal Meatwagon.

Disco Bill is next with the 95DI 5 speed he bought after some rich guy had it quit on him on the PA Turnpike, the guy called the LR dealer and had them bring him out a brand new RR Sport Supercharged Edition and gave the tow driver the DI to cover picking it up. The tow driver fixed the Disco and sold it to Bill. The rich guy continued his trip in his new RRSC.

I am at the end standing in front of my white 97 after we got to the top of the summit outside of Ligioner in the Chestnut Ridge that runs along near Blairsville and Ligioner.

Bruce is not with us on this outing, but he has a very good Disco and goes almost anywhere in it.

I was the new guy, So I observed and brought up the rear.

I just eased along most of the trail, hit it hard when I needed to, but took it easy most of the way.

My wild and crazy days ended after the Big Block Dodge RamCharger with the MT 36's and the big lift kit. That and riding the Yamaha over a creek on a steel I beam after the bridge washed out back in the backwoods of Georgia. Riding the I beam was not a problem until I got to the end and had to jump the bike off the I beam onto the ground below. Looked like that scene from the Great Escape.

Let me know when you are coming over this way and I will be sure to meet up with you.
