RPI GEMS intake
Anyone have any experience with this intake? I just checked the website and they are claiming 20 BHP increase as well as better throttle response(also says different throttle body sizes are available depending on the "response" desired).
Looks killer, definitely bored out from stock. Local mechanic has it for sale.

He is not so overly enthusiastic about adding performance to his vehicle. He got a complete motor from a customer as trade and this was on it. He wants $400. I can't find any price comps anywhere.

Obviously 20BHP aint much, like a fart in a wind tunnel. Still doesn't equal the 99 Callaway.......
It's not an uncommon mod for the MG/TVR with Rover transplant folks and usually they go MS3Pro along with the other common mods. I'd go for it just to have it if it's solidly made. I can build an engine right around it.

Sounds like we have a bidding war! With the intake and a 4.6 cam you could get 21 more BHP!
