I got my satisfaction today.. My Rover finally fulfilled it's intended purpose..

I've rehabilitated an old Rover and she's happy to be running again..


I bought it with three things in mind..

1. Have some fun with it..

2. Have a 4WD when needed....

3. Tow my band trailer...

Today it made it's first trailer run.. No serious issues.. Which means it got there and back without breaking down !

Temps ran between 186 at no load to just a spike at 194 climbing a hill on the interstate loaded and downshifted....Most of the time 186 or 188.....192... etc..

I'm good with that...

Just wanted to share a sucess story for a change...

The newest band "Hank Western" just had it's first gig last night... No website yet... But a packed dance hall for our first show... It's nice to be able to crowd a dance floor and get appaluse at the end of a song... The rock bands are not that way anymore... And there's no money in a rock band.. One on every corner...Around here anyway...Dime a dozen..
