Seat length difference between 1&2 discos

Default Seat length difference between 1&2 discos
I want to put discovery 2 in my disco 1. I am a fairly good welder so I can make tracked to match factory bolts. But is the second seat in the disco 2 the same width as the disco 1. Will these seats fit?

I'm not much of a welder, and I gave up, took the D2 seats back, bought two passenger seats (easier to find that good driver seat). See https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...ight=seat+swap

Sorry I misread. I tried that rear bench seat also, couldn't make it fit. Good luck.

I don't think you will fit D2 seats in a D1 from everything I have read over the years.
Yes, both front seats are the same width.
