Serpentine Belt Tension

Did the tensioner part fail or the bearing on the pulley wheel? If its just the bearing then it can be replaced easily with a new bearing. You could rebuild it and keep it as a spare.

Just the bearing. Where would one get just the bearing? That's a good idea.

I am always reluctant to order any part for mine from Advance, just my personal opinion.

I did buy the bearing replacement from NAPA but couldn't remove all of the remains of the bearing from old pully. ended up getting a replacement pully wheel from Advanced - who I don't like either but it is close by.

Good thing it is close that will make it easy for the repeated returns usually encountered with their parts, especially rebuilt alternators.

Some of the stuff Advance sells is brand name, like Neacpo, Timken, Gates (I think), Delco, etc.
