Default She don't like water...

The slightest bit of water in the engine compartment causes my disco to run like heck. I have know idea what's getting wet to cause it to run so bad. Mentioned in another post about going thru 6 to 8 inches of water at 25 mph and it stalled, I cranked it up but it spit and sputtered for about 10min till it dried out. And did the same thing again tonight when I was hosing off the front end with a shower nozzle. It spit and sputtered and had to wait a good 10 min for what ever is that is getting wet to dry out. Any and all suggestions are most appreciated.

Ecm on passenger fender back of wheel well, has a small plastic half cover and you probly have a hole rotted in wheel well and don't know it right around ecm, ecm is not water tight, or you are shorting the crank sensor wiring drivers side of engine at the back on the side where it bolts to transmission (I think) if you have a distributer could be getting that wet, bad plug wires shorting bad when wet? That should get you started on things to look at
