shift indicator tiny screws
When i cleaned up my 98's shift indicator I had to order some 6-40 screws to replace the three missing ones that hold the slider part into the frame, and I cussed the PO for leaving them out, but when I removed the shift indicator from a 95, its slider part was flooping around with no screws in it either, but underneath it I found four little 6-40 phillips head screws and tiny washers laying on the tunnel plate.
Hard to believe that these tiny screws just back themselves out over time, but that must be what happens. After I clean this better indicator up, those screws willl be going back in with some lock-tite.
