Hey Fellas, I was using my Disco 1 as my daily driver and COMMUTER vehicle. It was killing me on fuel, I was throwing in 25-30 bucks a day just to get me where I needed to go to pick-up my kids etc etc. So I sold the Disco for 4500 cash AFTER I TOOK OFF THE NEW 245 75 R16 MTR's and put some crappy stocker tires back on it. I bought a Honda accord as a commter vehicle and lemme tell you that getting 30 MPG is amazing!!. Anyway, I STILL own an 87 RRC and I went out 4-wheeling yesterday in it and it did amazing. Its got a 3" lift and I put the 245's on the RRC. I went with a toyota on 33's and a locked rear end and a 95 Ranger on 34" swampers and a locked rear end.........the RRC was a dang Billy Goat!! It went everywhere and even outshined the other trucks with open differentials and 31's!! Even they were like "dang, that little beatch goes doesnt it!". Anyway, it was a good trip, I'll post pics later. Anyway, I no longer owna disco but I still have a rover so I will still be around here to annoy the hell out of you boys and stir the pot LOL.

Well im glad you figured out the FJ lift before you got rid of the Disco. Thanks for that handy bit of info. Good luck with the RRC man!
