How's your viscous fan behaving? Is it running?

Yeah I saw that. Is it actually spinning? Especially when you see temp spikes?

Well I would love to offer you some advice but your beyond the point where I cuss alot, drink beer and put it off until a later date. Hell I started to bleed my brakes today and the speed bleeder must have got some trash in it...I quit for the day. Too hot for all that mess.

Oh believe me, I did my fair share of cussin'.

This is the second motor I am having trouble with. I bought a used one from Rover Land parts last August and had it installed in December. Turns out it had bad bearings after 2 months of trying to figure out why there was no oil pressure on start up. Took another month to get the thing uninstalled, my money back, and to ship it back.

Now I got this engine, had it installed, and now I am having this problem. I'm surprised I haven;t ripped all my hair out yet.

Good luck with your brakes. That doesn't sound fun either.

Hey all, I just wanted to update here, in case anyone is having the same problem.

I finally fixed my issue. Turns out my second thermostat was faulty. Thanks to everyone here who suggested to check it again, and thanks CUpgt for suggesting the 180 stat. I did exactly as you said. Got a SBC and drilled the bleed hole. Truck is more than perfect now. Runs between 183.4 and 185 downtown and highway, and 186.8 at idle, never higher. That was in 90 degree weather.

Thanks again. My spoiled vehicle got a new radiator out of this one. But hey, I needed it soon anyway.
