Default Starter Grind.

I went wheeling this weekend and went through the mud pit a few times. (Got stuck each time after encountering about 3 and half feet deep of mud) Now my starter grinds after it starts each time. What can I do to fix this?

I would pull the inspection cover off the bottom of the bellhousing and see if you got some mud around the flywheel. If there is just take a garden hose and spray all the junk out at least thats what happened to me. If its clean and dry it might be something stuck in the starter

Also dont forget to check your oil in your axles and check your wheel bearings and swivel ***** for water/mud in them.

Do like Long Haul said and if it continues check and make sure you did nto knock the starter loose/out of alignment.
