Default Steering box adjustment screw removal

Is it possible to remove the adjustment screw completely out of the steering box?
Will anything go flying out across the garage if I do?
Reason I ask is mine is "stuck" around the 19mm retaining nut. Looks like some sealant is preventing the hex head bolt to come out.
I have both loose and could back out the two and separate them on a vise.
I've looked in the RAVE and can't find anything saying to not remove the adjustment screw.
Thought I'd ask here.
Thanks,

Never got a reply but a search showed someone asked the same question back in 2008 and no definitive answer.
Thought I'd follow up in case someone else has the same issue.
To answer my own question... dunno.

I did manage to get the two separated. I cleaned the threads on the hex bolt and using a hex socket and a 19mm wrench got them freed up..
I took a punch and made a mark at 12 o'clock relative to front to rear. That helped to know where I started from as the socket blocked my view.
Only took an 1/8 of a turn to get the steering to feel right. 1/4 turn was too tight.

So, to answer the question... No, the sector shaft adjusting screw can not be screwed completely out. It is connected to the sector shaft. The function of the screw is to remove backlash (play) in the steering drop arm. It tightens up or loosens the sector shaft roller to the worm gear. Too tight will cause wear and hard steering. Too loose causes slop in the steering wheel.
