Tightening Steering Box
I still have a little play in my steering after replacing the tie-rod ends and steering dampener. So now I am wanting to check that my steering box doesn't need some tightening. I believe I read somewhere that it may lead to this looseness.
My first question is, where exactly is this magical nut I need to loosen - tighten the bolt 1/8-1/4" - then re-tighten the nut? I have the image of the box but I cannot tell where it is. I'm a novice to all this, if you can't tell.
Also, any tips / tricks?

Duck under the front of the truck and there is a steering rod, drag link in front of the axle, it is attached on the drivers side to the steering box. Now look in the engine bay from above and follow the steering column down from the bulkhead firewall, it attaches to the steering box in front of the drivers side just forward and above the front axle. You will see a nut on top with a screw through the middle, either a allen head screw or a slot head screw, slacken the nut a whole turn or two and then screw the screw in the centre down gently until it stops, don't force it, then back it off 1/8 of a turn. Tighten the outer locknut without turning the inner screw (hold it with an allen key or screwdriver). Check you have full movement on the steering with the engine running and bingo it is now adjusted. Ensure when you carry this adjustment out with the wheels are pointing straight ahead and the steering wheel is in the straight ahead position, this is important.
