Default Stereo Help

Earlier today i put in my cassette into the cassette deck as i always do to play my ipod. it started to make some weird noises and didnt play so i decided to eject it, but when i did that i heard ever weirder noises and it didnt come out. so i pulled the radio got the cassette out put it back in and it still says TAPE. even if i take out the whole cassette mechanism it still says Tape. Any tips on what i need to do.
