The problem wasn't the seal ring on mine. The seal ring was there. The problem was that whoever opened the tank and replaced the pump did not get the lock ring screwed down. That allowed the pump to bounce around and allow dirt and water to enter the tank through the 1/2" opening between the tank and the pump. I'm surprised the pump still works. I still need to do a pressure test to see how well it is working. That and replace my filter. It was replaced by the po cause it was plugged. Now I know why.

I've been hoping that. Tonight I get to order the new fuel filter. Maybe with a few drive cycles it will clear up, but I have a sneaky suspicion that my problem is the MAF...I just can't justify spending the money unless I know the part is bad.

Thanks a ton! This helped me replace the torn pump gasket which was throwing a code and after pulling up the carpet, letting gas into the rear cargo space.
I'm a new user and love the site!
