Hey all, was doing my swivel ***** this weekend and I forgot to put the stub axle mud guard back on (#2 in the attached snip from the RAVE). I'll probably be removing my calipers again in a couple of months to switch them over to the 110 models, so I could much more easily remove the hub and refit the shield when I do that. My question is - is this a big deal if I drive around for a few thousand miles without it? It's barely mentioned in the RAVE, and not at all in any of the youtube videos I've watched regarding the knuckle assembly. Is it only really necessary if I'm wheeling in mud and such?
