Default Stupid snorkel and intake box question !!!

Ok here is a dumb question. I am wanting to get a safari snorkel intake. When I attach this to my rover is it going to hook into the stock intake box (which I have a k&n drop in filter I love) so basically is this safari snorkel going to replace my k and n filter and stock air intake on my 1998 4.0 v8 ingine or can I hook the snorkel up to my stock air box. I'm all about power upgrades so if you have some more spit them my way

I have a 50th anniversary disco 1 with full roof rack, ladder, rear step, brush guard, tail light covers, 3 inch suspension lift with 245 all terrains. This thig is a beast off road and a real head turner visually. But I want to make her roar

It attaches to the airbox, you still need a air filter.

Naturally though, you'll be getting [cold]er air, thus somewhat substituting since you're "all about power upgrades".

Are you using the OEM filter box or are you using a cone air filter?

If you get oil from that K&N on the heted element in your MAF you can kiss power goodbye!!!!

Better get used to the lead sled of a rig since it is a LR. Or throw in a 350 GM motor.

Jesus don't even tell me there is a way to throw a 350 crate motor in it......... And no I'm not running a cone filter. Just the standard drop in to the factory box. Should I replace it?

I would not run a K&N air filter, a new MAF is $1500.

So the snorkel will still hook to the box I just need to get a paper filter instead on the k and n correct?
