Default sudden flood of rain water on passenger floor

I recall on my first d1 something about water getting block by a clogged drain behind the AIR INTAKE PLENUM COWL under the windshield. But I do not remember having to remove that cowl to resolve it.
The search feature gets too many hits with water and leak..
There are no wet spots on the headliner so I don't think it is a leaking drain.
Also I can add to the water by having a slow running hose right at the base of a windshield wiper.
anyone have experience with this?
Thanks

Water enters the heater box through the air inlet at the cowl, there is a drain on the bottom of the heater box and it's probably plugged by petrified dried up A/C poo/muck/sludge. The outlet is under the truck directly under the heater box. Do not be under the drain when you open it......

I had the A/C drain leak off into my passenger floor board too. What got me thinking it was ac was how hot the water was when it showed up on the carpet. When I unclogged mine I had to stick a small screw driver (tweaker as I call them) in there to knock out said sludge. I was not smart enough to get out from underneath it though...

If it's not your truck has a belly button.

Looks like the right spot, near the trans dip stick tube kinda sorta. You might have to coat hanger the drain to get the water running. If it's not the drain then you have a firewall leak. I've had that happen too. Usually it's in a corner and rotted and it gets worse as the roof drip rail runs right on down the A pillars. Look somewhere there.
