Sunroof problems
The only reason I am posting this is because it's going to rain tonight and I can't close my damn back sunroof. I went to clean it today so it would stop leaking under this Oregon rain, but when I went to close it, the thing gets stuck. It is almost closing, and I can hear clicking when I try to close it, but it won't follow through with the last step of closing. I can see that its busted (on one side the roller is bent), but it opens and closes fine besides that last part. I lubed it up and even tried the allen wrench trick but it won't close. Desperate at this point because the rain is going to kill my interior.
EDIT: It is stuck in the tilt position.
Driving a 98 discovery.
Any advice?

Its the little tabs on the track. They are bent. If you wiggle it just right it will close. If either of you two need sunroofs I have 2 good ones in a parts truck I'll sell on the cheap!
I tried to wiggle it and get it to close but to no avail. I threw a tarp over the top of my truck for tonight and I'll get back to it tomorrow.
CUpgt, might hit you up on that. How much you sellin for?

I'm kind of glad that my Disco doesn't have sunroofs seeing as they always break!
Finally closed it. Had to get on top of the car and force it a little bit, it hurt me inside to do this. It's pretty busted, gonna tape is closed and change it out this summer. That's if I can figure out how, total noob with this stuff.
Thanks for the help guys

Drop headliner then unplug motor and start unscrewing stuff hardest part is headliner i would unbolt and reseal the roof rack while headliners out, headliner is a real bitch if you have rear a/c
