Super Gaz Lift?

Wow, missed that one. TF seems like it might be calling my name. And AKdisco, not that I have a problem with "ghetto"-rigging anything (I owned a Integra GSR.. Zipties and plastic panels were my best friends) but I do plan on doing some serious Off-Roading in this. I graduate next year and I'm getting a new car, I want to keep this baby around so I can use it for the wheeling when I'm in college. I haven't decided yet and I've been price checking around and so far $90 for the 7.5 Wrap Coils. The thing is I'm young dumb, and..hubris? haha
But I am taking everything into account. Thanks for the answers guys, once again I'm more than satisfied.

This is a good question about shocks and springs, there are many company's Like Monroe and others that make shocks. Who has the technical knowledge on this forum to explain why the others are inferior? Yes, I bought OME for my rig, but I wondered why the others that cost less are not chosen by the Rover crew. Anyone?

Not to give you a simple answer but some of the cheaper parts are just that cheap, they just dont hold up or last as long. Im not saying that Monroe shocks are no good I think theyre great, but companies like OME have a little more experiance and R&D with Rovers.

I forgot to mention Monroe (for example) and others the shock that fits the back of a 98 DI might also fit many many more vehicles so it might not have the proper valveing for the weight (trust me It took me a few hours and scales to get the proper valveing for my FOX shocks but its definately worth it)

The Supergaz kit lifted my truck a little over 2in.
I've been running the Supergaz set-up for about a year. It's performed flawlessly. I use my truck for hunting, wheeling and it makes a 25+ mile dirt road trip to my cabin a couple times a month. I don't know how a shock and spring combo could work any better.
