swivel pin housing oil?
I've been going through and replacing all my fluids and oils this morning and i'm having trouble trying to locate a level plug and drain plug for the "swivel pin housing" I see where the fill plug is and have taken that off, but the picture in the rave manual and what i'm looking at behind the tire don't seem to match? should i just fill it until it seeps out of the fill plug? or would that be too much? thanks

I believe sometime in '97 (like mine) they started using "one shot" grease, it almost pours, but not quite.
With that, they eliminated the drain plug.
You can still fill with gearlube, tho" some people use 140w since it doesn't leak out as fast
I R&R'd ball seal on driver's side as ball was scored badly (jb weld fix), filled with one shot, the pass side has 140 in it (minor leakage), no probs for 2yrs.
luck,greg

But people complained when they leaked.
When they were originally filled with gear lube they had oil drains.
So then they got rid of the drains and filled them with grease.
Well the grease did not lube as well if they were not kept at the proper level.
So they came up with this "00" grease, which is a mixture of grease and gear lube.
The change happened somewhere in the '96-'97 model year range.
You can make your own, or you can buy it.
I made my own, the pic I posted is what my lawnmower takes in its differential.
I made my own "00" lube in my swivel *****.
