fine. ha.

i'm keeping the ultragauge in the D2 (no oil pressure), going mechanical on the D1.

i have all the parts now to do the oil pressure and water gauges. water is installed up to the actual sensor being placed. that's what i'm trying to determine now.....where you and VCG actually put it. i'm not 100% sure where to drill that hole been starting at the pic for 20 minutes now.

i'm fine with the oil pressure gauge conceptually for the moment.

looks like the last pic in the series isnt loading... which is the most important one hah
ill see if i can take care of that when i get a chance. imageshack seems to be freaking out...

also if you get a chance take some pics of where you mounted the gauges. i was/am going to do a flat 3 gauge install on the middle of the dash... but if folks have thought up some other ideas id love to see them.

here's the water. it's perfectly out of the way and reasonably easy to glance at. i didn't fully consider oil at the time i installed it so that will be the trick.

i think its too far out of line-of-sight for me...

as diesel-truck-esque as the a-pillar would look, i think theyd be ideal there. but i think ill probably end up sticking with my dash top mounting

it's out of the way......but......we shouldn't have to monitor all gauges like a pilot every second....a quick glance and I can read it. if i recall it has an audible as well.

i like it where it is. i also seriously considered theft issues.

i guess if you do run it hard it would be better to have at eye level. you might as well go for the pod if you like it there. i'm thinking of putting my android mount up top the dash.

this is the unit i picked up... its just a little too small to fully cover the little tray on the dash center, but it might look alright. im not 100% sold on it yet but i dont see a better way at the moment to fit 3 gauges...
