I noticed, on my 99 discovery 1, today that the linkage for the vacuum pump to the throttle cable wasn't attached. When I connected it, it forced the throttle to sit in a open position. Here you can see the when the linkage is connected. I can't thread the connector out enough to let the throttle close. Any one have any tips or tricks before I start messing with it?
