Default Tired of this...

Every year around this time, my rover will lose brake pressure. Today I saw it was about an 1/8th", toped it off with some fluid, and still the pedal will go to the floor. It still stops OK, but there is too much travel.
Im thinking a simple bleed will do, but does anyone know the most common leaks in the brake system? I've checked at the top of the system and at all 4 corners, and there are no leaks to be seen.

If it is heat related I would look into replacing your rubber brake lines.

yeah, i might as well do that. The 2" lift isnt hard on the OE lines, but i plan on gaining some mega travel in a couple months, so going to longer lines now wont hurt.

Well my thought is that the rubber is expanding to much because it is old, it gets hot and then gets super soft.
I dont know if thats the problem, I'm just saying...

When you pick up that mega travel I may be interested in your TF shocks bc I'm assuming those shocks will be going.

i had / have a similar issue. my rears weren't grabbing very well at all. flushed the rear lines. first pump was a big sputter of air. second thru 8th pumps were gushes of fluid that looked like rusty ****. running clear now, but not stopping all that much better. i'm wondering where that air cam from, i cant find any leaks.

im not going to lie, it will be a while before i get to changing things up. Ive been searching around for reasonable coilover parts, and plan on building a set specifically for my rover. But i have to get done fabing up my bumper, cage, and deciding if i still want it to be a functional DD.
