Default Tires, shocks and springs INSTALL shop

Looking for a good indy shop in the Nashville area to install tires, shocks and springs. I'm hesitant to go to a local tire shop (Firestone, etc) for fear of them not having any specific knowledge of LR's or what to do if they screw something up.

You should find a local 4x4 shop, not a big Tire and Battery and Shock shop. Any decent 4x4 shop will be able to do this work.

Looks like Ed's Rover Services near you would be worth checking out.

IF you can do your own work and have a driveway, I think you would be amazed at how easy it is to install shocks and springs on a DI. You only need a decent hydraulic floor jack (HF will do), 2 jack stands, and very basic hand tools (box wrenches and sockets). Total investment approx. $250.00 and this is a one person job.

BUT, if you know your skill/comfort level and you don't want to try this then you are smart to find a shop. Good Luck!

Shocks can be changed almost anywhere. Even by a 12 yr old kid! (this was a few years ago)

Great photo. Yea, i agree. If i were only doing shocks and springs. I have new tires also and would like to have them done all at once. I dont mind paying a local brit shop time and labor if it's reasonable. If not, the side road it is.
