Default Today the check engine light is out...

Finally after 1 year and a lot of money. The check engine light is out! Only took a MAF, IAC and throttle body clean out. Resealing the intake plenum, O2 sensor, fuel regulator, and a tune up. Now to fix the oil leaks yay. Curious to see how long the light stays out. I'm takin a poll, anyone want in? Lol

I will now I can get back to the upgrades. I started it a few more times, went to the store and still no light. I'll be happy with a week or so with no light.

Well check engine light came back on today on the way home. Throwing a p1158 code now. Noticed that 1 of the 4 o2 sensors was not changing voltage.just sits there at 1.020 anyone have any ideas? Think it needs a cleaning or replaced?

1158 is one of those codes that must exist on two successive drive cycles before the light turns on. So it was bad before today, just pending and waiting to bite your wallet next time it was close seat cushion.....

My CEL has been on since I bought my truck. Only have two issues to correct to get rid of it (fingers crossed) but it runs great so I just got used to seeing it. Kinda strange when its not on.

Well I can tell you it's not getting fixed now. Attempted to remove o2 to see if it was full of soot, it ohm tested out ok. But the thing decided it was not coming out for nothing. So in it stays, a piece of black electrical tape, and wa la. The light is out. Lol the truck runs good and doesn't seem to be an issue. So it can stay that way for another year as far as I'm concerned.
