Default Torque Convertor bolts

What do you use to get to the bolts? 3/8 drive and socket?

I have not physically tried as I am at a stopping place until my parts get in. It seems there is not enough room to get to them unless you pull the pan off the engine which I am not doing.

Take a 6 point socket. see how deep the cut is on the inside where the bolt head goes and picture the thickness of the bolt head and cut the remaining off the end of the socket with a thin cut-off wheel. your left with a short socket that just grabs the bolt head and gives you plenty of clearance with a 3/8 ratchet.

13mm socket. you can get them from the passenger side corner with a swivel. They are loctited in from the factory and can be some trouble to remove. Be carful not to bend the reluctor ring tabs when remoing and installing the bolts. If you bend them bad enough they can rip the crank sensor apart.
If bent just sightly you'll find yourself with recurring misfire faults.

Where are you a tech at warwagon, I probably have met you.

You can pm me if you want or not
