Towing Capacity D1 with lift
I am sure this has been answered before so I apologize for those who have to repeat themselves.
Here is my situation going camping this summer in the Outer Banks and we have a small 16ft 1969 Scotty trailer and a 16ft 1994 Wahoo! fiberglass boat.
I have a 99 D1 with 144,000 miles. 2'' lift 32'' E rated tires Arb bumper rock sliders SD rack but factory gearing.
Boat weighs 750lbs without gear and motor so everything probably weighs close to 1200lbs with everything. Don't know exact weight of camper but its around 1300lbs. No trailer breaks
Driving from Richmond VA around 200miles one way.
Can I safely tow one of these, preferably the boat, down there and back without damaging my vehicle or flipping over?
Might help to say I have taken really good care of my disco. New OEM radiator, New head gaskets, New steering box, New EBC brakes and rotors, New fuel pump, all new bushings, tie rod ends etc.
Sorry for all the information but figured a yes or no answer was dependent on a lot. Also if there is anything else you suggest doing to make this happen let me know.
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for actually reading through that and responding haha
Ok I have never towed with it so I had no idea and didn't know if I had to have trailer breaks. Plus it is already pretty underpowered and didn't know if that would put too much strain on engine/transmission.
thanks again for responding.
