Hey gang.

I picked up a 96 D1 on Saturday. The blinkers weren't working, so I investigated. Took the panel off, and the flasher relay was sitting there disconnected. I re-connected it, and the blinkers worked...BUT...the trailer light flashes and clicks constantly. If the blinker is engaged, the trailer light blinks normally with the turn signal light. Then as soon as it's off, it's back to flashing 120 times a minute.

I read through some older threads here, and checked a few possible solutions, but none of them turned up anything useful (I've no trailer hitch wiring installed, and the fuses are all good.)

Any ideas? It was a 1-owner truck that spent it's life hauling hay from one end of his farm to the other, so I'm guessing that's why he just pulled the relay when it started. No need for flashers on a private property farm.
