Trans cooler lines
Are your transmission cooler lines leaking?
Mine were, and I fixed them for free.

Cleaned them up with brake cleaner, let it dry.
The applied Liquid Tape, let it dry, repeat.
3 coats.
Drove almost 500 miles over the weekend and no more leaks.
I am still going to replace all of the lines because they are heavily rusted but at least I am not having to add trans fluid every couple of days.
SO if you are in a pinch and need to just "get by" then give it a try.

Yes with a brush, it also comes in a spray can but I use the brush stuff, its like $5 a can.
I fixed my cracked cruise control hoses with it 5 years ago with it.
But with something as important as the trans lines I wont be so cheap.
Once the brakes are done the trans cooler lines will be next.

On the metal cooler line?
That will last another year at least if I wanted it to, but they will all be replaced before winter.
I need to stress that this is a temporary fix, it will work long enough to get you home, or until payday so you can fix it properly.
I am checking all of my options, including using a pipe cutter to cut the metal pipe, then a flare tool to flare the ends and then run new rubber line.

No, the spot where the body mounts to the frame, where it should be white/ color of Disco!
That is nothing to worry about.
You guys scare to easy.

WD-40 the area and it will slow the rust.
