Transfer case worries
My tcase doesn't whine except for in low range under load going "fast".
The drivelines in these do have some normal slop that worries people.
If it pops out of gear and there's nothing wrong with the shift machanism, then something is definitely wrong.

I had a vibration on my driveline so I decided to replace my U-Joints last week. When I went to remove the rear drive shaft, I discovered that two of the four bolts mounted on the transfer case flange were stripped and loose. This was the source of the vibration. If you remove the shafts to replace the U-Joints, I would replaced all of the 3/8"-24 Nuts and bolts. I used Grade 8 bolts and nuts, the nuts were the locking type.
A helpful tip, chock the wheels, remove the driveshaft on the axel sides first, and place the transmission in neutral to rotate and remove the axel bolts on the transfer case sides. If you remove the tcase flanges to replace the 3/8-24 bolts, a 30mm socket is needed and you may wish to replace the felt sealing washers on each end. A small amount of oil will leak out of the tcase once the flanges are removed so be prepared to catch the oil and refill during reassembly.

what type of ujoints did you use?
That's good info thank you. I replaced the bolts in my front shaft at both ends because mine was missing. I also used grade 8 from Ace Hardware. I had to remove the front flange and didn't notice anything odd on that end. I will look into the rear flange now too.

None of your u joints look greased, there should be grease everywhere, I am serious
Also lose the sway bars the ride will be better, especially before you hit the front drive shaft during suspension flex

The front sway bar is disconnected. It's just bungee 'd up to the frame.
Haha. Yea that was a long road. I'm still chasing potential leaks I guess it never ends.

there is no oil anywhere in those pic's!
