It did. I put the key in position 2 moved the tranny to N. Them tried to push the transfer case into N. When it wouldn't I put the tranny back into park. Then tried to do it again this time now the tranny won't go into N it won't move out of park now

I'm thinking the transfer case high range gear is binding or bound, my thought since I read your first post. If the case can be brought to neutral or low the transmission should be able to be shifted into neutral just to get an idea. I would block up both axles if you can to get the wheels off the ground to rotate them just to make sure it isn't one of those diffs that's hosed.

Maybe some of the guys here can help move this a little further along tonight, I gotta hit the hay for a long day tomorrow, already had two long days so far and am beat.

The front end is on jacks stands. Rear drive shaft is unhooked. I can spin either driveshaft. Spin the front one, rear shaft and front tires spin.

But that wouldn't account for the rear. I'll check that in the morning.
Thanks for the help

No sir. I can push it now, with rear driveshaft unhooked at differential. Front is still attached. But no I push in the brake with key in 2 position, it's stuck in park.
The first time I tryed this it went into neutral, but couldn't get the transfer case into N. I pushed forward pretty hard on the transfer shifter. Then when I returned to park it wouldn't come out of park.

When's the last time the transfer case lever was used, recently, awhile ago, never? Did you check the facia fuse box, shift interlock, fuse F12? Also check fuse F1 in same box.
