Not sure about those, I fixed mine with a dollar store glue stick. Please post back if you buy'em. To access the subs it's (IIRC) 8 philips head screws on the enclosure.

i know i could fix them like that but id rather get new ones. My dad gave me 2 6.5 speakers there not subs but there 1 way speakers and i hooked them up and they sound good so im just going to use those. Also has any one ever modded the stock enclosure to put bigger woofers in, like 8 inch.

Edit: Would 2 6.5 inch subs out powered by the stock amp out do a 10 inch sub runnning on a after market amp. Im trying to decide what to do to upgrade my subs. I dont know whether i want to just say screw the cargo space and get like a 12 inch sub off Craigslist or something.

2 eight inch subs would "out power" a ten inch sub simply because of the fact that it pushes more air. However you need to make sure the amp can power the subs adequately. Subs have specific wattage that they must continually get, aka RMS, and you have to match that requirement or you can mess up your subs. I personally have 2 ten inch Kicker Solo Barics powered by a kenwood 1800w amp (900W RMS @ 2OHM).

I bought and installed the Pyramid WX65X 6.5" subs last month. Got them from Amazon and they sound 10 times better than the crap two-way speakers that the PO put in to replace the stock subs. They are very easy to install and fit the stock mount perfectly.

Do you think if I bought either one of the 6.5 subs above they would provide a lot more bass than the 1 way speakers I have.

You can also get creative and put the stock subs behind the door panel.

Ok i got my subs installed ok but how hard is it to install a new head unit. I looked at some of the wiring harnesses and they have horrible reviews saying they had to solder new connections. I would like to keep the factory amp unless replacing the factory one is easy. I was thinking somewhere down the road replacing all the factory speakers but that could be awhile from now.
