Default Turn signal/light switch

My turn signal/light switch is going bad. It turns on, but jams quite frequently when I attempt to turn the headlights off. I'm afraid it's going to jam permanently or break soon.

Any advice on good replacements? I found one locally, a Eurospare @ RMeuropean for $42, and on Ebay, a Lucas for $82. Or, should I just snag a used one?

Thanks,

I'd go with Eurospare. They get old and dirty so a used unit is not a great solution. You could try to open it up and see if it is something simple. They are not that complicated.

Thanks for the reply, Walt!

I've attempted to open and clean some of the dash switches and that was a major fail on my part. I'd probably get the same result from opening the turn signal stalk.

I ordered the Eurospare from RMeuropean. I already had some items in my cart on their site and this item pushed me into free shipping territory.

They have great prices on wipers, too. I ordered Bosch Focus 20" blades for less than $18/EA. They're usually around $32/EA at the local auto parts stores. I've been using the Bosch Envision (EN20) 20" blades, but the Focus is basically the same blade and their pricing on them is super low so I thought I'd give them a shot.

I’m having a weird issue as well with my light stalk. When I’m night driving and use the headlight + dash-light mode the **** will constantly slip out of that mode and go to either just lights or just dash lights. Which of course, turns my tail lights off. I wonder if it’s just gunk in the ****...

I replaced the switch today. The Eurospare part seems high quality and is working well.
It was an easy 15 minute project. My right angle screwdriver from HF helped make the job easier as it's a tight fit removing the screws up against the steering wheel.

Next time simply turn the steering wheel 90 degrees and the screws will be exposed.
