Default Turn Signal Switch Woes

Hey Everyone, So, within the last year I’ve gone through two turn signal switches.

I just bought a third one from Atlantic British, it states that it’s Lucas and built in Great Britain, but on the box there is a typo where one of the letters was in Chinese so who knows. This time the issue was my turn signal was starting to not work when I would attempt to use it to turn. Last time, my headlights had stopped working except for my brights.

Also, I noticed that when the switches are starting to fail the turn signal clicks as I turn the wheel to finish my turn (with the switched engaged in either direction)

Is anyone else having this issue? Any ideas or advice?

I replaced my original with a Eurospare from RMEuropen in Littleton,CO around 1.5 years ago and have had no issues. Since you're in Denver, you can pick up from them and avoid shipping.

When your original switch went bad, did you try spraying some rubbing alcohol in to the cap and twisting it. That worked for me, for a bit, and then I bought another used OEM one off ebay, easy as that.

No, I figured my original was probably pretty old so I was trying to get a new one that I figured would last forever
