1997 Disco's that is. Picked up to good running pretty rust free Disco's, not sure yet what we will do with both but they are to nice to part out.
One the shifter wouldn't move, (stuck interlock) the other had a host of little issues (door won't open windows don't work). Both seem to be good runners so far so we will see what happens.
150k on one and 170k on the other. Decided to start doing some work on them both. I can't bring myself to part them out.
So first things first, I got the AC working in the 170k mile truck.
Than fixed the window regulator, never seen one this mangled before
While it was out I adjusted the door lock and fixed the wiring to the lock actuator. So now the central lock works and you can open the drivers door from the outside.
Then it was time for some clean up
With that cleaned up I insured it, plated it and took it for a spin. Since it didn't overheat or explode I installed a back pack rack on it when I got home.
So far so good drives really well, and I think it will be a fun one to do a build on. Old Man Emu springs or TerraFirma what shocks lights etc so many choices.
