It's been getting quite for some time on the D1 forum, must be chasing them off with the 3-4k quotes on repairs.....sheesh.

I'm contemplating 15" wheels so I've got more meat between me and the terra firma bending my rim.

I have to admit the heater and heated seats are far superior to what I have in the 110. Although I think after reading up a bit on the DII I may see how much they want for the MAF when I stop by the pick n pull tomorrow to see about a head light assembly

Uh, that has caught me with my drawers around my ankles big time. The funny thing is I did it myself.....never fails. See if you can snag a starter and an alternator as well. Just good to have on the shelf. Might want some hubs too.....kinda less than stout.

I found a U-Pull up here in Grand Rapids, I feel a road trip is in the works for next weekend.

dude who are you talking to I have a couple of spare starters on the shelf already. They are the same for all the RV8. lol

Hub assemblies I'd rather bite the bullet and buy new. Alternator is already on the list

We have this place here in Los Angeles (I have yet to personally use them), If they have something you need and want it checked out just let me know and I'll zip over there and take pic's/whatever..drop it in a flat rate box etc.

Who said they where for you!? I actually own a piece of a DII, my starter and I need ANOTHER spare alternator. The one I have is rebuilt (pulled from a 95) and during the Polar Kotex last year it pulsed...... I looked like a rescue vehicle.... I actually had someone pull off on the shoulder.... I gave em a honk and wave when I passed em....LOL!!!

Wow, now that's a buddy I'll keep! I'm gonna need two front hubs in the future. See how much they want for them next time your out there. No rush.......yet.

Mine had been beat to death by the PO. I've gone six years hand packing those but they're getting a little wobbly for my blood. I'd have to grind more than 1/8" off the rear lip in order to remove the rear bearing race. I mean that idiot really beat the living snot out of em. No idea why.

I usually go to Paul Grant but he's not getting many D1's anymore to part out, all DII's these days. I was going to give Will Tillery a shout, I know he has a few left.
