Default Ultragauge reading error in disco 1

Hey All, first post.

Thanks for the wealth of information on this site, it has been a big help thus far.

This question is for the ultragauge users

I am a new disco owner, 98, and I bought an ultragauge based on some of the posts here and it's ability to monitor engine temp.

I am having an issue with any MPG related readings where it is reading in the thousands of hundreds. I swear I saw on this site that someone was able to get accurate MPG readings. It's throwing off the gallons used as well as miles to empty.

I am communicating with the manufacturer to try to troubleshoot through email, but I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue.

The below image is what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance.

Is that number while driving, or engine running at a stand still?
