Hey guys, I was driving and when I got home my headlight looked like it was dangling. I snapped it back in, but it's still feels a little loose. Any suggestions on how to tighten it so it doesn't fall of when I'm driving. I have looked for a thread but can't find one. Thanks for the help guys.

 

Sounds like either the headlamp housing(hope not) sockets are worn or the headlamp studs are worn.

(that is assuming you are talking about a land rover)

 

Yes Chris-Bob I have a '97SE7. When facing the engine I can actually press on the bottom inside corner and it pops out of the sockets. I hope I can change the bolts and that'll work.

 

download rave and read the directions on light installation and removal. you may not need all the parts you think you need.

 

If the plastic tabs came out of the slots behind the headlights, they just go right back in, then grab the plastic tab and swing it about an 1/8 turn, you will see a notch where thy go.

One of my headlight adjusters was broken, I replaced them all. They were pretty cheap. AB and RN both stock them.
