True Danny, the trans does not have to be in "N" to shift from lock to unlock, but for a novice it is sometimes best to start simple.

we really need a clear sticky on how to use the transfer case even if its just a copy of the owners manual, which clearly shows how to use it, and can be found on the rave download.

If someone wants to do a page copy or scan or whatever and make a thread I will make it a sticky in the tech section.
