Default Very Sloppy Steering

I appreciate all help as I have a work trip tomorrow and this came up tonight. 1998 D1, ZF, ABS 80k I replaced all the bushings on the front and rear suspension, all 4 tie rod ends, front wheel bearings along with many other things over the last 4 months of ownership. I was having some wobble at 65-70 mph which I thought was death wobble til I had death wobble after replacing everything but before alignment. That’s all cleared up but now the steering is super loose. I can turn the wheel from 9 o’clock To 3 o’clock and stay in my lane. When leaving from a stop or low speeds it’s tighter. I know nothing of swivel ball preload but I have read a lot this evening on it and the bearings for the king pin. I have to fix it tonight so thank you for your help.

Yes sir there is, I was looking through older posts and the same person kept saying not to mess with that, the issue is somewhere else. I adjusted the steering just a little like you suggested and it feels like a whole new car. Amazing. Thank you so much. I have learn to listen to some and others less, small adjustments are always best.
