I have had my battles with cheap thermostats and now go for OEM ones. And stayaway from the "Fail-Safe" ones. once they open up, they don't close again and need to be replaced. Right now it is warming up outside, 23F, after being around 5-7F all day so it can go from -20f in the winter to +1-7F in the summer so a cooling system working is a must here. Also "Permanent" anti freeze only lasts about 5 years before it stops working. (Been there)
