You may already be aware but just in case you aren't, these trucks are full time All Wheel Drive. So, you are always in "4 wheel drive". The Diff Lock locks the front and rear drive shafts and should only be used off concrete or asphalt. Locking the differentials and driving on asphalt or concrete can mess things up when you try to turn.

Does the truck have the owner's manual? If not, get hold of one and read up on the diff lock.

drain / re-fill front/rear diffs and xfer case....

check fan clutch...

check/grease u-joints...

hahaha - but if you do have to do that just take the console out, drill out the rivets on the boot to tunnel and get to everything from the top

 

I think that comes natural. When you get so pissed nobody understands what your saying they'll sum it up as Cockney.......or Pig Latin.
